The Opportunity: Perseid Restaurant seeks an enthusiastic Part-Time Restaurant Host / Greeter to join the team! This role will be collaborating closely with the broader Food & Beverage operations team. The Role:The Restaurant Host / Greeter is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and professional first impression for all guests. As the initial point of contact, this role sets the tone for the dining experience by greeting guests, managing reservations and waitlists, and supporting smooth front of house operations. The Host / Greeter works closely with the service and management teams to ensure guest flow, seating, and communication are handled efficiently and with care. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment while upholding hospitality and service standards. Key Responsibilities:• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival • Manage reservations, walk ins, waitlists, and table assignments • Communicate seating needs and guest preferences to service and management teams • Maintain an organized and inviting host stand and entry area • Monitor dining room flow to ensure efficient seating and positive guest experience • Answer guest questions and provide accurate information about the menu and restaurant • Assist with guest concerns and escalate issues to management as needed • Support overall front of house operations and assist team members when appropriate Based upon fluctuating demands of the operation and to exceed customer expectations, it may be necessary to perform a multitude of different functions not specifically related to this position.
