Prospective applicants will join a mission-driven environment where leadership and innovation are encouraged.Role Description The Executive Director is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Rome, GA, responsible for the overall management, strategic direction, and day-to-day operations of Network Day Service Center, Inc. The person in this role oversees program delivery, ensures services meet regulatory and quality standards, and guides staff in implementing best practices for participant care and engagement. Daily responsibilities include supervising and developing leadership and program teams, managing budgets and financial performance, and maintaining compliance with applicable laws, contracts, and accreditation requirements. The Executive Director builds and maintains relationships with community partners, funders, regulatory agencies, and families, while actively seeking opportunities for program growth and service enhancement. The role also involves reporting to the Board of Directors, preparing regular performance and financial reports, and leading organizational planning, risk management, and continuous improvement efforts.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrated leadership and management skills, including staff supervision, team building, and performance development.Strong organizational, planning, and project management abilities to oversee multiple programs and priorities.Experience with budgeting, financial management, and interpreting financial reports in a nonprofit or human services setting.Knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and best practices related to day services or similar community-based programs.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with staff, participants, families, community partners, and the Board of Directors.Proven ability to build community relationships, represent the organization publicly, and support fundraising or grant activities.Ability to use standard office and management software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, and basic data systems).Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).Minimum of 3 - 5 years of management experience in the developmental disabilities field.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Understanding of DBHDD, DHS and DCH regulations and person-centered practices.Ability to interface and engage diverse volunteer and donor groups.Valid Georgia driver’s license and reliable transportation required.Benefits:Network offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Competitive salaryPaid Health, Dental, and Life Insurance401K Retirement PlanAnnual and Sick Leave Job Type: Full-timeStarting Pay: Based on degree and experiencePlease send resumes to jenny.shealy@ndsci.org
