This role invites career-oriented researchers and exploit developers to team with industry experts tackling the industry's hardest problems. This position presents the opportunity to engineer tangible contributions to mission-critical tasks, discover new vulnerabilities in widely used software, and guide the development process of turning those vulnerabilities into working exploits.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nPerform vulnerability research and exploit development for mission-critical tasks.\r\nDiscover new vulnerabilities in widely used software and assess their impact.\r\nCollaborate with engineers and stakeholders to turn vulnerabilities into working exploits.\r\nGuide the development process from research to production-ready exploits.\r\nRequired Skills\r\nExpert proficiency in C/C++ and Python\r\nExpert proficiency in one of the following platforms: Windows, Linux//Unix, Android\r\nProficiency with assembly (x86/x64/arm/aarch64)\r\nFamiliarity with modern software engineering practices (Scrum, Agile etc.)\r\nExpert knowledge of cyber security systems, including networking, kernels, security subsystems (DEP, ASLR, ROP), etc.\r\nFundamental understanding of Vulnerability Research concepts (fuzzing, static analysis, dynamic analysis)\r\nDesired Skills\r\nAbility to coordinate with customers, interpret and negotiate requirements, and communicate effectively with product stakeholders\r\nProficiency with modern vulnerability discovery and analysis toolkits, such as mutation, evolutionary, and taint fuzzers, instrumentation based fuzzing, and symbolic or solver-based fuzzing\r\nProficiency in a wide variety of real-world vulnerability development, such as the creation of PoCs of RCEs, LPEs, sandbox escapes, kernel security defeats, etc.\r\nAdvanced proficiency in Reverse Engineering and associated toolkits (Ghidra, IDA, Binary Ninja)\r\nAdvanced proficiency in application and kernel debugging, and associated toolkits (Windbg, gdb, etc)\r\nFamiliarity with taking proofs of concept and productizing them into working exploits\r\nFamiliarity with advanced Vulnerability Research topics such as symbolic execution, concolic execution, and automated tooling to conduct static analysis.\r\nRequired Certificate and Qualifications\r\nCurrent TS/SCI Security Clearance\r\nCurrent CI Polygraph\r\nAbout the Company\r\nStackpiercer Labs is an equal opportunity employer.
