This team is part of Motorola Solutions’ Software Enterprise division, which offers secure, reliable and efficient team communications, workflow and operational intelligence solutions for mission critical public safety and enterprise markets throughout the world. Our services leverage Cloud Computing infrastructure on Azure to build at scale.\n\nJob Description\nThe Cloud Platforms & Services team is responsible for:\nDesign and implementation of the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline into multiple public cloud regions\nDevelopment and operation of common platform services that can be leveraged by our SaaS solutions moving forward\nOverall reliability and security of these services and the environments they are run in\nMonitoring and support for these platform and infrastructure services, as well as metrics collection and reporting related to them\nAs a software engineer on this team, you will be a key contributor to platform development activities. Our teams are developing services, tools, and processes to support other Motorola Solutions' engineering teams as well as deliver solutions to our customers. You will be working on a high-velocity, results-oriented team that leverages cutting-edge technologies and techniques. The right individual will be motivated and will have a passion for automation, deployment processes and enabling innovation. Your efforts will help to shape the engineering culture and best practices across Motorola Solutions’ Software Enterprise organization.\nResponsibilities will include:\nDesign and development of custom software solutions that centralize common functionality\nDesign and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications\nDevelop automation tools and services to minimize delivery time and increase developer productivity.\nTake part in partner interactions, DevOps and deployment activities\nIntegration with Multiple Cloud Services like AWS or Azure or GCP\nOn-call work/support is required for services developed by the team\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field with 5+ years of equivalent experience\nStrong experience and understanding of Node.js and Angular.js\nGood understanding on Azure/Aws/GCP\nGood understanding on Kubernetes/docker/ CICD,\nStrong level of curiosity and interest to learn\nAbility to work in a fast paced, evolving, growing and agile environment\nStrong troubleshooting, debugging skills. Good performance diagnostic skills\nDatabase - PostgreSQL or any relational databases\nUS Citizenship required.\nThe candidate must be in the office once a week at one of the following locations: Allen, TX, or Schaumburg, IL.\nOur customers also require US citizenship and residency for this role.\nThis position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's \"Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy\" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.\n\nTarget Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 USD.\nConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
