Hui Huliau employees help us achieve this mission by providing outstanding service to our customers.\r\nShift First\r\nDescription\r\nAC4S LLC is currently seeking a Domestic Deployment Technician to join their team in Northern Virginia. The qualified candidate will perform hardware and software deployment and installation at Passport Agencies and domestic Consular centers. Executes server installation support services including non-routine and emergency work. Performs Hardware Configuration Management for designated DT/EA/CST configurable items. Completes operating system configuration, security fixes, software installations and upgrades, security patches, and Oracle database changes during active deployment. Creates technical documents recording all server installation activities. Contributes deployment tracking data covering completed installations. Follows deployment SOPs and reports recommended improvements. Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on assignments, performing work under supervision.\r\nExperience and Skills\r\nStrong knowledge of computer hardware, servers, workstations, operating systems, and peripheral devices.\r\nExperience installing, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting Windows-based operating systems and enterprise software applications.\r\nKnowledge of server installation, deployment, and hardware configuration processes.\r\nExperience applying software updates, security patches, operating system upgrades, and system configuration changes.\r\nFamiliarity with configuration management principles and adherence to approved technical standards and procedures\r\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.\r\nAbility to read and interpret technical documentation, deployment plans, installation guides, and standard operating procedures.\r\nProficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.\r\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to ensure deployment accuracy and compliance with quality standards\r\nPhysical Requirements\r\nFootwear: Steel-toe boots or steel-toe protective shoes are required at all times while performing warehouse duties or handling IT equipment.\r\nLifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move IT equipment and boxed assets weighing a minimum of 40 pounds . Occasional lifting of items above this weight may be required with proper team-lift procedures.\r\nStanding and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday, including walking between storage areas, staging zones, and inventory stations.\r\nBending, Stooping, and Reaching: Regular bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching to access shelves, pallet racks, and inventory locations.\r\nPushing and Pulling: Ability to push or pull carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment used to transport IT assets within the warehouse environment.\r\nManual Dexterity: Sufficient hand and finger dexterity to safely unbox, label, scan, connect, and prepare IT hardware and accessories.\r\nEnvironmental Conditions: Ability to work in a warehouse setting with variable temperatures, concrete flooring, and active movement of equipment and personnel.
