We’re looking for someone who wants to be on the front lines—embedding with customers, solving hard problems, and proving what’s possible.\n\nAbout the role\nAs a Forward Deployed Engineer at Solstice, you’ll sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success.\n\nYou will deploy solutions directly into customer environments, deeply understand workflows, and ensure our platform delivers measurable value to real-world pharma marketing teams.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDesign and implement integrations into enterprise systems\n\nCustomize AI workflows to fit brand-specific regulatory processes\n\nTroubleshoot production issues and drive rapid iteration\n\nTranslate customer feedback into core product improvements\n\nYou’ll collaborate closely with co-founders Yiwen and Aris on product strategy, technical direction, and customer expansion as we scale Solstice into the system of record for compliant pharma marketing.\n\nIf you thrive in ambiguity, enjoy high ownership, and want to see your work in production at leading pharma organizations, this role is for you.\n\nWhat you’ll work on\nCustomer deployments\n\nEmbed with pharma and agency partners to deploy Solstice into real-world workflows\n\nLead enterprise integrations (Veeva Promomats, Adobe, Figma, internal DAM systems)\n\nConfigure and tailor compliance workflows for brand-specific needs\n\nAI workflow implementation\n\nPackage and deploy LLM/RAG agents (LangGraph, LangChain, custom frameworks) into production\n\nAdapt agent behavior to customer datasets and regulatory standards\n\nImprove evaluation, observability, and safety of deployed AI systems\n\nBackend & infrastructure\n\nExtend and harden FastAPI services for ingestion, retrieval, annotation, and compliance\n\nOrchestrate background jobs with Celery + Redis (retries, scheduling, idempotency)\n\nManage AWS deployments, including secrets, networking, autoscaling, and cost controls\n\nData & pipelines\n\nBuild scalable file-processing pipelines (PDFs, images, OCR, embeddings, metadata enrichment)\n\nWork with Postgres, Redis, S3-first architectures, and vector databases (Pinecone)\n\nEnsure reliability, traceability, and auditability in regulated environments\n\nProduct feedback loop\n\nTranslate customer needs into scoped engineering improvements\n\nIdentify repeatable deployment patterns and turn them into platform features\n\nHelp shape Solstice’s roadmap based on frontline insights\n\nIdeal traits\n\nCustomer-oriented builder – You care deeply about whether what you ship actually works in production.\n\nStrong engineer – Experience building and deploying enterprise-grade systems. Proficient in Python, FastAPI, Docker, and AWS.\n\nLLM-native mindset – Experience building RAG pipelines, evaluation systems, or agent workflows—professionally or through deep experimentation.\n\nIndependent and decisive – Able to operate in ambiguity, make informed decisions, and drive results without perfect direction.\n\nStrong communicator – Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
