Creative Learning Assistant (After-School Program)

Turtleback Robotics Academy is looking for a Creative Learning Assistant to support our after-school program. This role blends arts and crafts, basic learning activities, light tutoring, and hands-on enrichment for students ages 6–12. You don’t need a STEM background — just positive energy, reliability, and a genuine love for working with kids. We’ll train you on everything you need to know. Your role is to help students stay engaged, think through simple problems, and support them as they work on creative and educational activities. What You’ll Do Lead simple arts, crafts, and creative learning activities Support students with basic logic tasks, puzzles, and problem-solving games Assist with homework, reading practice, or simple academic reinforcement Help students stay focused and guide them through their activities Support hands-on enrichment stations (training provided) Assist the lead instructor during robotics and coding lessons Prep materials, reset stations, and keep the classroom organized Maintain a safe, positive, and encouraging environment Who Thrives in This Role College students Paraprofessionals or daycare workers Tutors or camp counselors Customer service workers who enjoy kids Anyone looking for meaningful, part-time work People who want experience in education or youth programs No Experience Required — We Train You We provide full training on classroom management, activity facilitation, supporting basic logic and learning tasks, assisting during STEM lessons, and safety protocols.
