Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service. Key Responsibilities:\r\nWelcomes each guest with a smile and friendly greeting and escorts guests to their assigned table.\r\nControls the flow of work in the room by seating guests in station rotation while maintaining guest lists and following and enforcing check issue procedures.\r\nAssigns opening and/or closing side duties. Supervises side work and ensures completed lists of set ups of all stations before departure of service staff.\r\nMaintains reservation book, takes incoming telephone calls, notes reservations and special requests by guests.\r\nRemains knowledgeable of all menu items, prices and general service procedures.\r\nResponsible for standards of appearance and cleanliness in all service areas.\r\nRemains visible on dining room floor, and is easily accessible to guests, staff and management.\r\nChecks all tables daily, before service to ensure proper settings.\r\nAssists with side work and/or assisting service staff with bussing table and taking cocktail orders.\r\nCommunicates guest requests and concerns to the department manager.\r\nIncorporates safe work practices in job performance.\r\nMinimum Qualifications:\r\nNo experience necessary but will train.\r\nOther Qualifications:\r\nRegular and reliable attendance.\r\nDemonstrates an outgoing and friendly attitude.\r\nThis job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.\r\nEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
