Involvement in this project is anticipated to last initially 1 year, but may be extended.\n\nThis role will be hybrid with requirements to be in office 3 days per week.\n\nAbout You\n\nSeeking a Senior Analyst with strong analytical, technical, and communication skills to support Risk Management through data, reporting, and analytics. This role is critical in understanding front-line processes, analyzing and transforming data, developing reporting and visualization solutions, and collaborating with IT to integrate data across multiple departments. Under limited supervision, you will collaborate and play a key role in shaping the firm’s risk information and analytics capabilities. This position requires exceptional analytical ability, attention to detail, and hands-on experience with data and business intelligence tools.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nAdvance data, reporting, and analytics capabilities for Risk Management, ensuring deliverables meet business needs, enterprise standards, and regulatory expectations.\nDevelop and maintain reporting, dashboarding, and analytical solutions using approved data and business intelligence tools.\nExtract, transform, reconcile, and analyze data from multiple source systems to support risk measurement and decision-making.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders and IT delivery teams to translate business needs into data requirements, analytical logic, and reporting solutions.\nIdentify opportunities for process optimization and automation within assigned workflows.\nTranslate technical and analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives through dashboards, presentations, and executive summaries.\nManage multiple priorities and deadlines using effective project management and time-tracking practices.\n\nKnowledge of:\n\nRisk Management principles and practices, including market, credit, and liquidity risk.\nAgile methodologies and iterative delivery environments.\nAnalytical and business intelligence tools and platforms, including SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau, and Qlik.\nData preparation, cleansing, reconciliation, validation, and basic data modeling concepts.\n\nSkill in:\n\nExtracting, manipulating, transforming, and analyzing data from multiple source systems using SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau, and Qlik.\nDeveloping dashboards, reports, visualizations, and analytical outputs.\nReconciling and validating data to ensure accurate and consistent results.\nTranslating business and risk objectives into data requirements, analytical logic, reporting specifications, and technical documentation.\nCommunicating technical insights effectively through presentations and visual storytelling.\n\nAbility to:\n\nHand write SQL (required) and Python (preferred)\nCollaborate with business partners to understand their processes and translate them into data, reporting, and analytical solutions.\nAnalyze complex datasets, identify patterns or anomalies, and develop actionable insights.\nDevelop and maintain queries, scripts, technical documentation, and instructions.\nAdapt quickly to evolving needs and deliver concise, actionable insights under tight timelines.\nWork independently and prioritize and manage multiple tasks.\nBuild and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.\nDevelop and justify data-driven recommendations that consider constraints and potential outcomes.\n\nEducation/Previous Experience\n\nBachelor’s Degree and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in financial services, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.\nOR\nAny equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience approved by Human Resources.\n\nEducation\n\nBachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: Computer and Information Science, Bachelor’s: Finance\n\nWork Experience\n\nGeneral Experience - 3 to 6 years\n\nAbout Us\n\nAbout FDM\n\nFDM powers the people behind tech and innovation.
