This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your attention to detail and commitment to excellence make a real difference every day.\nDuties\nPerform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, lobbies, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment\nConduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to keep surfaces pristine\nMaintain cleanliness of windows, glass doors, and partitions for clear visibility and aesthetic appeal\nHandle industrial cleaning tasks in specialized areas requiring heavy-duty equipment or techniques\nAssist with custodial maintenance tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces\nSupport facilities maintenance activities including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate team\nUse commercial cleaning tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards\nParticipate in routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met consistently\nSupport porter duties such as moving furniture or equipment when necessary\nContribute to a safe work environment by following safety procedures and using personal protective equipment properly\nRequirements\nProven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings preferred\nStrong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care (buffing, stripping, waxing) and industrial cleaning methods\nExperience with facilities maintenance tasks and basic repairs is advantageous\nAbility to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, floor scrubbers, and carpet cleaners safely and efficiently\nExcellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards inside and outside the building\nPhysical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift\nGood communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly\nAbility to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment\nJoin us as a Custodian and become an essential part of our commitment to providing clean, safe spaces that foster productivity and well-being.
