At Olive & Finch, we believe in inclusive leadership, sustainable growth, and nourishing both our guests and our teams.Position SummaryThe BOH Crew is an essential member of the kitchen team, supporting smooth operations through dishwashing, food prep, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. This role contributes to both back-of-house and front-of-house cleanliness, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless dining experience. As a tip-eligible, crew-level position, the BOH Crew plays a critical role in the success of the restaurant's daily operations.Key ResponsibilitiesWash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in compliance with health and safety standards.Assist with basic food preparation as directed by kitchen leadership.Maintain cleanliness and organization in BOH areas, including prep, storage, and dish areas.Support FOH by assisting with trash, bussing, and overall dining room cleanliness as needed.Remove trash and recycling to ensure safe and sanitary conditions.Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.Communicate effectively with BOH and FOH team members to support smooth operations.Uphold Olive & Finch service standards and brand values at all times.QualificationsPrevious restaurant, kitchen, or hospitality experience preferred but not required.Strong work ethic and attention to cleanliness.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.Competencies / Core ValuesTeam-oriented and dependable.Safety- and cleanliness-focused.Positive, flexible, and willing to learn.Reliable and committed to excellence.Reporting StructureReports to the Kitchen Manager. This position does not have direct reports.Work Environment & Physical RequirementsThis is a hands-on, back-of-house position requiring extended periods of standing, bending, lifting, and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Must be able to handle exposure to heat, cold, and cleaning chemicals. Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
