X-Ray Technologist

Duties - Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment - Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions - Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images - Operate imaging equipment and adjust settings to ensure high-quality images - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures - Perform venipuncture, lab work, front desk tasks, triage, and vitals Experience - New Grads welcome to apply - Proficient in performing diagnostic evaluations and using medical imaging equipment - Experience working in an Urgent Care or fast-paced medical environment is preferred - Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology - Familiarity with a variety of imaging techniques, including X-ray Skills: - Proficient in operating X-ray and other medical imaging equipment - Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control measures - Ability to accurately position patients for imaging procedures - Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals - Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
