Their finance team is looking for a part-time Accounting Assistant.Accounting AssistantWe are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Assistant to join our financeteam. The ideal candidate will provide crucial support in various accounting tasks, contributing to theefficient operation of our financial processes. Initially the position will be part time (approximately 20hours per week). It will be more heavily focused on Accounting specific routine/maintenanceresponsibilities vs. the listed description below to help improve organization and administrativeprocesses as well as documenting procedures. As the position progresses your responsibilities willinclude more of the following duties.What You’ll Do...Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and vendor management. Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including journal entries and reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements for review by senior management. Collaborate with team members to maintain accounting processes and improve efficiency. Perform general administrative tasks as needed to support the finance department. Assist in payroll processing and benefit management. Skills And Experience RequiredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Previous experience in a similar role or internship. Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Proven experience (or relevant coursework) in accounting or finance. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices.
