This role works closely with Project Managers to support project forecasting, budgeting, billing, contract management, and financial performance monitoring. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in project accounting within the Architecture/Engineering industry.ResponsibilitiesPartner with Project Managers to support project financial performance and forecastingPrepare and coordinate monthly client billings and consultant invoicingReview project cost reports, budgets, contract values, and project profitabilityInvestigate and resolve billing discrepancies and invoice issuesMonitor project budgets, costs, change orders, waivers, and contract documentationAssist with collections and outstanding invoice follow-upEnsure proper project cost coding and accounting complianceSupport month-end close and other general accounting activitiesCollaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Project Management, and Operations teamsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field3–7 years of accounting experience within the Architecture/Engineering industryExperience with:Project billingWIP reportingBudgeting and forecastingRevenue recognitionContract and project cost trackingStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with Deltek Vantagepoint preferredStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentCompensation & BenefitsThe salary range for this position is $70,000 – $90,000 annually, depending on education, experience, qualifications, and skill set.
