Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team at the 3C’s coffee cup cafe in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the overall efficiency of our culinary operations and contributes to providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities - Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. - Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed. - Assist kitchen staff by providing clean cooking tools and equipment promptly. - Help with food preparation tasks as directed by cooks or chefs when not washing dishes. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation. - Support banquet and catering events by managing dishware needs during service. - Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment in the hospitality setting. Requirements - Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not required. - Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen. - Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed. - A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service in a culinary setting.
