This role sits within GovCIO's Vets Sector MIAMI Business Unit, Mission Alignment Pillar, where you're writing directly supports how senior leaders and government direction are translated into the plans, materials, and knowledge our business unit runs on.\n\nThis position is fully remote within the United States.\nResponsibilities:\nMission Alignment & Strategic Support\nSupport GovCIO's Mission Alignment Pillar by helping translate the priorities and direction of senior leaders and government stakeholders into clear, actionable materials for the business unit.\nDevelop strategic plans, briefings, and supporting materials that turn concepts and priorities from senior leadership into structured, executable documents.\nCreate and maintain organizational charts that reflect personnel and reporting structures across the business unit.\nBuild and maintain SharePoint sites to organize, share, and manage information across the business unit.\nTranslate government-provided material into content that supports internal training, onboarding, and knowledge sharing within the business unit.\nProposal Development\nCreate compliant and compelling proposal content by thoroughly analyzing solicitation requirements and working as part of a proposal team. Assignments include supporting and leading past performance and resume development with oversight and coaching.\nDraft, edit, format, and proofread proposal content in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Quotations (RFQs).\nApply critical thinking to iteratively develop content using proposal best practices such as storyboarding.\nCollaborate with proposal team members to integrate win themes, discriminators, and strengths into assigned written sections.\nEnsure the accuracy of data and the alignment of assigned sections with overall proposal strategy and messaging.\nServe as a past performance or resume writer covering multiple contracts or candidates.\nDeliver required artifacts on schedule.\nTechnical Documentation\nDevelop, edit, and maintain technical documentation, user guides, help guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.\nConduct interviews and information-gathering sessions with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate concepts into clear, user-friendly content.\nAssist in the creation and maintenance of knowledge base articles, FAQs, quick-reference guides, and online help documentation.\nSupport the development of visual aids, diagrams, process flows, charts, and infographics that enhance mission critical documentation.\nCollaboration and Quality\nCollaborate with SMEs, project managers, analysts, and government stakeholders to gather information and document business and technical processes.\nParticipate in project meetings to understand requirements, timelines, and documentation needs.\nEnsure consistency in writing style, formatting, terminology, and branding across technical documents and proposal submissions.\nApply document templates, style guides, and government formatting standards to deliver professional-quality products.\nAdhere to organizational quality standards, security requirements, and government documentation policies.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nRequired Skills and Experience\nBachelor's degree with 1–3 years of relevant experience (or commensurate experience).
