Accounting and Financial Analysis Manager

Accounting And Financial Analysis ManagerLead and manage the treasury and financial analysis functions within a dynamic healthcare environment. This role involves overseeing reporting and analytics to equip management with critical financial insights for informed decision-making. You will identify key datasets, prepare both custom and standard reports, and contribute to analyses related to liquidity, costing, and regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:Manage treasury and financial analysis activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.Support cross-functional teams with service pricing, overhead allocation, cost determination, and other financial metrics.Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial plans, budgets, tax returns, and profit and loss statements.Identify financial trends and report on organizational financial performance against expectations.Research broader economic conditions and integrate findings into financial models.Maintain a self-service financial reporting infrastructure for organizational leaders.Adhere to privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI).Foster effective communication and professional relationships with internal teams and external partners.Education:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field required.Master's degree or professional certification such as CPA or CMA preferred.Experience:Minimum of 3 years in financial decision support or related roles.Healthcare industry experience and familiarity with regional healthcare financial regulations are advantageous.Skills And Abilities:Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.Expertise in financial modeling, cost accounting, and statistical analysis.Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for leadership.Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Technical skills in data warehousing, programming, workflow automation, and relational databases.Physical Requirements: Light work involving occasional lifting up to 25 lbs and standing or walking 11-25% of the day.This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package within a supportive healthcare network serving the Midwest region.
