The position will require knowledge of all Zeeco products, with a focus on installation of this equipment. Some travel will be required.\r\nJob Duties\r\nAnalyzes and interprets customer inquiries, including specifications, to develop appropriate scope of work and installation plan for equipment.\r\nTravels to customer's facilities for site support and details needed for technical review and proposal generation.\r\nAssists with technical development and risk assessment of customer inquiries.\r\nWorks with personnel to ensure that equipment installation requirements are understood and to establish which portions of the scope can be handled in-house and which portion will be handled by subcontractors.\r\nCoordinates with outside subcontractors to establish cost estimates for all required portions of the project.\r\nDevelops overall budget according to established guidelines.\r\nDetermines documents needed for quotation and coordinates their completion.\r\nWrites, edits, and issues formal quotations to customer.\r\nFollow-up on any written or verbal correspondence with customer during quotation phase.\r\nVisits with customer's post-proposal issuance to discuss and negotiate proposal.\r\nProvide status reports to management on overall proposal status and activities.\r\nAssist with the creation and modification of sales presentations / documents using Microsoft Office, Excel / PowerPoint / Project / Adobe and all Web based systems.\r\nWhen a project is sold, develop detailed turnover packages to turn over project information to the project execution team.\r\nSupport the project execution team, as needed, with technical or commercial guidance throughout the execution of the project.\r\nWorks with management to determine updated skills and tools needed to continue improving performance and knowledge.\r\nPerforms other duties as may be assigned that are appropriate based on skills and experience.\r\nQualifications\r\nB.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, Chemical or related field)\r\nB.S. in Construction Management or related field\r\nPreferred experience: Working for or with Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) companies.\r\nPreferred experience: Working for or with companies in oil & gas, petrochemicals, or related industries.\r\nPreferred experience: Working directly on construction/installation projects.\r\nJ-18808-Ljbffr","company":"Medium","rawCompany":"medium","city":"Houston","state":"TX","isRemote":false,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-07-04T03:01:05.685Z","occupations":[{"code":"17-2199.00","title":"Engineers, All Other","slug":"engineers-all-other"},{"code":"41-9031.00","title":"Sales Engineers","slug":"sales-engineers"},{"code":"13-1051.00","title":"Cost Estimators","slug":"cost-estimators"}],"industries":[{"code":"541330","title":"Engineering Services","slug":"engineering-services"},{"code":"238990","title":"All Other Specialty Trade Contractors","slug":"all-other-specialty-trade-contractors"},{"code":"541690","title":"Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services","slug":"other-scientific-and-technical-consulting-services"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"Applications Engineer","description":"Job Description\r\nThe Applications Engineer position will be based out of Zeeco's Tulsa office or Zeeco's Houston office.
