{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"58156ef4401fe4e6f390fc73","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/58156ef4401fe4e6f390fc73","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/58156ef4401fe4e6f390fc73","title":"Verification Engineer 4","description":"$75-$80 per hour\n\nAUSTIN, TX\n\nContract\n\nDuration: 12+ Months\n\nJOB DUTIES\n\nParticipate in the functional verification of a block(s) of complex ASICs and/or IP cores for a combined CPU/GPU development effort.\n\nBe part of a team of design and verification engineers, working closely with other team members to understand and verify the functionality of a given design element within the context of the block, chip and overall system.\n\nBe responsible for carefully documenting and executing test plan(s) consisting of directed and constrained-random tests to be run during simulation.\n\nBe expected to adopt the evolving verification methodologies used in the industry to functionally verify increasingly more complex SoC designs within aggressive, market-driven schedules, and work within the existing verification infrastructure on currently active projects.\n\nBe familiar with hardware modeling and/or assertion-based verification methods.\n\nEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION\n\n8-10 years of proven verification experience on large ASIC development projects or software/firmware experience in a hardware development setting.\n\nStrong background in C/C++ development in a Linux environment.\n\nStrong debug skills and experience with debug tools such as GDB and Valgrind.\n\nProficient in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), STL, computer architecture, and data structures.\n\nKnowledge of Perl and Makefiles.\n\nExperience in Verilog/SystemVerilog/SystemC, preferred.\n\nExperience in C/Verilog environment using DPI/PLI, preferred.\n\nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail.\n\nExcellent written and communication skills.\n\nUS Tech Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
