Express Cargo Agents perform a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving and processing inbound and outbound airfreight. The expected pay rate is $21.50/hr. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.Your activities:Facilitate loading and unloading of trucks and move freight and containers throughout the cargo warehouseManually sort/transfer packages/boxes into and out of containers for aircraft and trucks with urgencyEnsure all cargo is scanned for tracking where appropriate. Make sure label related to the cargo is correctAssure proper handling and delivery of cargo and operation of related equipmentRoll loaded containers to staging positionsMay operate pallet jacks or move package cartsOperates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methodsFollow Dangerous Goods Requirements and RegulationsComply with Swissport Standard Operating Procedures and PoliciesYour profile:Good command of the English language both verbal and writtenHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentMust have a valid driver's licenseAbility to pass all required background checksAbility to lift 30 lbs unassistedAbility to stand for long periods of timeMust be able to work flexible working hoursAbility to work in inclement weather when applicableAt Swissport, we believe in diversity, equal opportunity, and the power of our values to drive our success.
