solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, (which may include RFIs, RFPs or prototype development), selecting the most optimal option, and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution.\r\nCommunicates the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures.\r\nChampions a structured approach to business application solutions.\r\nDirectly assists in the development of a solutions architecture program.\r\nAssures solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with the standards guidelines of technology solutions.\r\nUnderstands hybrid cloud architecture and knows how to apply the architecture reference architectures to solution design\r\nInfluences changes to standards when necessary.\r\nAssists domain architecture team on solutions management and timing of financial spend for application solutions.\r\nSupports the architectural aspects of all application projects in peer IT portfolios.\r\nDirects the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.\r\nDevelops and executes solutions which further reduce the percentage of time spent on reactive work.\r\nProvides analysis of security protection technologies as necessary.\r\nIncludes Zero Trust Architecture in designs.\r\nAssists with test strategy and ongoing testing automation.\r\nUnderstands and contributes to DevSecOps practices for solution team.\r\nSolution Architect Qualifications / Skills:\r\nExcellent oral and written communication\r\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills\r\nHigh attention to detail regarding accounting skills\r\nAbility to work under indirect supervision\r\nBroad understanding of information technology topics\r\nEffectively communicates ideas without bias\r\nAble to adapt solution to changing requirements and specifications\r\nEffective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability\r\nComfortable with ambiguity and time spent outside of comfort zone acquiring new skills\r\nFlexible in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting roles and responsibilities\r\nTechnically creative and open-minded\r\nUnderstands Behavior Driven Development and how to write scenarios\r\nUnderstands the benefits of Shift Left methodologies and how to apply the Well Architected Framework\r\nPrefers cloud over on-premises infrastructure\r\nPrefers PaaS over IaaS or containers\r\nEducation, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:\r\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience\r\nMinimum of 10 – 12 years of experience related to IT Management or other information technology solutions architecture role\r\nDemonstrated ability to communicate the complexities of technical programs\r\nProficiency with information technologies in a secure network environment\r\nProficiency in design of Azure PaaS services\r\nEffective design of event driven and hexagonal architectures\r\nUnderstands how to apply
