Made Possible.\n\nJob Details\n\nJOB SUMMARY\n\nThe person who occupies this position is responsible for daily operations of sheeting equipment by following the current control plan specifications and matrix requirements.\n\nJOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following:\n\nThe following is a list of specific duties which are considered the essential functions of this job. The list is not exhaustive, as all positions at the Company are dynamic.\n\nWork within and adhere to GPI’s core values of Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Relationships and Teamwork.\nProvides accurate quality and quantity of board stock for production for in 12-hour shift.\nReviews material requisitions and produces sheets according to specifications such as caliper, roll width and board grade requested.\nInspect incoming raw material board for shipping damage and wet stock and report to Department Manager.\nResponsible to adjust cutting blades as necessary to produce clean cut, ream cut jobs as needed, and operate core cutter to perform quality checks.\nAble to diagnose, trouble shoot equipment by early detection and sound of machine while in operation.\nResponsible to replace new paper reams and performs quality inspections.\nResponsible for entering rolls into production report as well as reconciling sheeted material, to insure proper inventory control.\nResponsible for checks for proper size, job number, customer name, stock type and caliper.\nResponsible for all make readies, change overs, back side printing on equipment.\nResponsible for housekeeping, maintenance, work orders, belt replacement etc.\nMust be able to obtain fork truck certification.\nWork within and adhere to GPI’s core values of Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Relationships and Teamwork.\nPerform other duties, as assigned\n\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\n\nManufacturing experience preferred.\nMust have physical coordination to operate forklift.\nSheeting and/or paper board experience preferred but not required.\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\nKnowledge of basic machinery, tools, equipment, basic computer knowledge, and fork truck experience preferred.\n\nJOB SPECIFICATIONS\n\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis\nAbility to stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift.\nAbility to work weekends and holidays.\nVisual Color Discrimination - the ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of colors\nDemonstrated ability to work independently, as well as within a team\n\nGPI’s Benefit Program\n\nCompetitive Pay\n401(k) w/employer matching\nHealth & Welfare Benefits\nMedical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage\nShort and Long-Term Disability\nLife Insurance\nAccidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance\nFlexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts\nVarious Voluntary benefits\nAdoption Assistance Program\nEmployee Discount Programs\nEmployee Assistance Program\nTuition Assistance Program\nPaid Time Off + 11 paid company holidays each year\n\nApplications accepted on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.\n\nGraphic Packaging is an equal opportunity employer and abides by all applicable federal, state provincial and local laws with respect to the recruitment and hiring process.
