Candidates should be comfortable supporting complex federal or enterprise environments and helping shape solutions that are secure, reliable, and aligned with customer goals.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDesign scalable, secure, and reliable technical solutions for federal or enterprise customersTranslate business, mission, and technical requirements into solution architecturesPartner with customers, stakeholders, and technical teams to define solution approachesSupport modernization efforts across cloud, data, applications, infrastructure, and systems integrationDevelop architecture diagrams, technical documentation, roadmaps, and implementation plansEvaluate existing systems and recommend improvements or modernization strategiesHelp ensure solutions align with security, compliance, performance, and operational requirementsCollaborate with engineering, data, cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams throughout deliveryRequired Skills/ExperienceExperience supporting enterprise, federal, or DoD technology environmentsAbility to design, document, and communicate scalable technical solutionsExperience translating business and mission requirements into technical architectureFamiliarity with cloud platforms, data platforms, application modernization, systems integration, or infrastructure solutionsUnderstanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and secure architecture principlesExperience collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, and customer leadershipStrong communication, documentation, problem‐solving, and presentation skillsRelevant certifications such as AWS, Azure, Security+, CISSP, TOGAF, or similar are a plusDesired Skills/ExperienceActive or current DoD security clearanceExperience supporting government or mission‐critical infrastructureFamiliarity with ERPs such as SAPApplication Deadline: 7/31/26The SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
