Whether you are beginning your career in surveying or have several years of experience, this position offers the opportunity to work with modern surveying technology while contributing directly to the success of our mining operations.\nAs a surveyor, you will collect and manage accurate survey data to support mine planning, production, ore control, and construction activities. Working alongside engineers, geologists, and operations personnel, you'll help ensure mining progresses safely, efficiently, and according to design. This position is for those of you who enjoy the outdoors and not sitting behind a desk, as it is a physically demanding position.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform daily field surveys to support mining operations and production activities\nCollect grade shots and complete ore control stakeouts\nEstablish and maintain survey control using GPS, drones, total stations, and survey software\nSurvey haul roads, drill patterns, dumps, crest and toe lines, and other mining infrastructure\nAssist Mine Engineering with production, planning, and construction projects\nIdentify and communicate field discrepancies affecting mining operations\nMaintain survey equipment and ensure data accuracy\nWork safely around heavy mobile equipment while following all site safety standards\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nValid driver's license required\nPrevious surveying experience in mining or heavy industry preferred.
