North Branch, MN 55056Job Type: Full-TimeSchedule: Day Shift (Overtime as needed)Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role involves machining precision metal components used in asphalt production and material-handling equipment. The ideal candidate has experience working in a heavy manufacturing environment and can read blueprints, hold tight tolerances, and work independently.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate manual lathes, mills, drills, and other various fabrication equipmentMachine steel and alloy components to print specificationsManufacture custom and replacement parts for asphalt plant equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, and tolerancesMeasure parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision toolsPerform basic machine maintenance and tooling changesTroubleshoot machining issues and adjustment as neededWork closely with welders, fitters, and engineering staffFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work areaPerform any other duties as assigned from LeadershipQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required (trade school preferred)3+ years of machinist experience in a manufacturing or industrial settingStrong blueprint reading and measuring skillsExperience machining carbon steel and stainless steelAbility to work independently and meet production deadlinesPreferred ExperienceManual machining experienceLarge or heavy-part machiningExperience in heavy equipment, asphalt, or industrial manufacturingPhysical RequirementsRoutinely lift up to 50 lbsStand for extended periodsComfortable working in an industrial shop environmentBenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurance available401(k) AvailablePaid time off and holidays
