Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and the ability to travel are also required.\r\nThe Quality Engineer Associate will be responsible for\r\nReviewing documentation related to manufacturing processes: Ensuring quality products are delivered to customers.\r\nSupporting Supplier IPTs and production sites: Reviewing quality data on yields, rework, scrap, and non-conformance aging.\r\nAnalyzing and resolving process issues: Addressing issues from basic to complex.\r\nLeading program corrective action meetings: Identifying trends, aiding in problem resolution, and ensuring commitments are met.\r\nParticipating in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards: Dispositioning non-conforming hardware, identifying containment requirements, and determining root causes and corrective actions.\r\nPerforming assessments and audits: Ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings, procedures, and ISO-9001/AS9100 standards.\r\nEvaluating design assurance activities and process methodologies: To prevent impacts on production velocity and quality.\r\nInterfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel: Addressing quality issues.\r\nUtilizing lean initiatives: Focusing on waste reduction and continuous improvement.\r\nMaking final product acceptability decisions.\r\nDesired Skills\r\nThe ideal candidate will have\r\nA technical degree, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.\r\nStrong organizational skills to track multiple activities, prioritize tasks, and interpret specifications for compliance.\r\nExcellent interpersonal, team-building, and collaboration skills.\r\nEffective presentation, problem-solving, and communication skills (written, oral, technical).\r\nExperience with Root Cause Analysis tools.\r\nKnowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and processes.\r\nBasic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance).\r\nWork Schedule and Location\r\nThis role offers a 4×10-hour day schedule, with three days off per week.
