About us Yianni's Wine & Food is a small upscale Restaurant/Wine Shop in Virginia Beach. We specialize in wine and fine dinning. A perfect canidate will have experience with wine knowledge Our work environment includes: Tons of Wine based events Lively atmosphere Regular social events A Restaurant Manger at our establishment will be responsible for managing the daily operations of a restaurant as well as leading and developing a team of employees. The manager must be able to efficiently coordinate administrative tasks, implement sales strategies, have a strong level of wine knowledge, keep abreast of trends in our industry and monitor the health of his or her staff and the overall atmosphere of our business. A Manager will also manage food ordering, inventory management, menu planning and selection, customer relations and other related responsibilities. Responsibilities: Effectively organize a staff to ensure smooth and timely operations. Mange a wine list of over 3000 SKUs Plan and coordinate food and beverage operations with management and kitchen staff. Choose, order, and store receipts of food and beverages to ensure they are available as needed. Oversee the operation of the entire service staff. Supervise servers, busboys, bartenders, and other food service employees. Ensure that all staff is trained in sanitation, proper food handling techniques, and customer service skills. Work cooperatively with management.
