If you are looking to be a part of an open, supportive team and receive exciting challenges that promote personal and professional growth, look no further than BNBuilders!\n\nJOB SUMMARY:\nThe Project Engineer is responsible for reading and understanding the construction design documents and specifications, ability to perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work, overall trade management and coordination, and some level of exposure to BIM.\n\nSALARY RANGE: $75,000 - $95,000 annually (companywide)\n\nBENEFITS:\nGroup medical, vision, and dental insurance, including a choice of two benefit plans - a PPO plan and a High Deductible/ Health Savings Account plan with company contribution to HSA.\nCompany-paid short and long-term disability plans, group life insurance, and AD&D plans.\nUntracked/unmeasured vacation.\nSick leave accrued at 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with an annual carryover of 80 hours.\n9 paid holidays each year.\nPaid parental leave.\nAnnual discretionary bonus based on company profitability and your manager's assessment of your performance.\nA 401(k) savings plan under which BNB matches the first 3 percent of your deferral with a 100% match and the next two percent with a 50% match for a total matching contribution of 4% of your pay. You are immediately 100% vested in all contributions (including BNB match). We provide both traditional (pre-tax) and Roth (post-tax) contribution options.\nWe are proud to be an employee-owned company. You can participate in this long-term plan after you complete 1 year of service (with at least 1,000 hours).\n\nJOB RESPONSIBILITES:\nCoordinate with project architects, designers, owners, and field personnel.\nResponsible for generating Request for Information (RFI) and submittals.\nManage project subcontractors.\nAct as the information hub to ensure continuity of work.\nOffer technical information to project supervisor to ensure work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.\nMay coordinate change orders, expedite material and job site equipment, assist in preparation of estimates, and compile data to assist in analyzing project progress.\nMonitor and track project quality control metrics and activities on a regular basis; provide timely and accurate quality reports, and raise issues to Project Manager or Superintendent, as appropriate.\nInspect all work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.\nPerform other related duties as assigned in support of business needs and the essential functions of the role.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nExercise general supervision of multiple job sites to monitor and manage projects during each phase of construction; including but not limited to pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction\nGraduate or pending graduate of a four-year degree program in Engineering or Construction Management.\nFull knowledge of computer software, i.e. Microsoft Office Suite.\nWorking knowledge of Autocad or Revit a plus.\nBroad knowledge of LEAN and BIM techniques.\nExperience with BIM is a plus.\nDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.\nGood oral and written communication skills.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
