If you join our team, they will.ResponsibilitiesGeneralAttend department, clinic or company meetings as requiredDemonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concernsConsistently work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow staff members.Consistently demonstrate ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary.Attend required annual in-service programs.Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all company policies and procedures.Duties And ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate the acquired knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, cardiac arrhythmia recognition and complications related to sedation/analgesia and medications.Assess total patient care requirements before and during the administration of sedation/analgesia including the recovery phase. Understand the principles of oxygen delivery, respiratory physiology, transport and uptake, and demonstrate the ability to use oxygen delivery devices. Recognize potential complications of sedation/analgesia for each type of agent being administered.Possess the requisite knowledge and skills to assess, diagnose and intervene in the event of complications or undesired outcomes and to institute nursing interventions in compliance with orders (including standing orders) or institutional protocols or guidelines.Demonstrate competency, through ACLS or PALS or appropriate competency assessment, in airway management and resuscitation appropriate to the age of the patient and to meet facility requirements.Additional duties as required.QualificationsRegistered Nursing License in the state(s) you will be workingPhysical Requirements: Strength: Sufficient to assist with lifting and transferring a patient, perform CPR, and stand for long periods of timeMobility: Sufficient mobility to bend, stoop, and bend down to the floor; ability to move around rapidly; and to move in small, confined areas.USD $35.00/Hr.
