Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily officeoperations at the Port of Long Beach. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizationalskills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to manage multiple administrativetasks in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide general administrative and clerical support to management and staff. Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments. Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other business documents. Maintain and organize electronic and physical filing systems. Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and visitor inquiries professionally. Assist with data entry, record keeping, and document management. Coordinate office supplies, equipment, and vendor communications. Support onboarding, scheduling, and other administrative projects as needed. Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of company records and information.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.2+ years of administrative, office support, or related experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.Professional demeanor and attention to detail.Preferred SkillsExperience working in logistics, transportation, maritime, port operations, orindustrial environments is a plus.Familiarity with document control and reporting processes.Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay ($40-$47/hour)Full-time opportunityStable work environmentOpportunity for long-term growth
