The role is a key leadership position responsible for excellence in resident care, team engagement, and operational performance. It also includes a Christian ministry component, requiring alignment with Baptist Housing's values, Statement of Faith, and a commitment to providing spiritual leadership within the community.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support all team members within the community, fostering a positive, collaborative, and values-driven cultureModel servant leadership and uphold Baptist Housing's mission, vision, and valuesProvide coaching, mentorship, and performance management to support team developmentPartner with People & Culture on recruitment, retention, and team engagementOversee the delivery of all long-term care clinical programs and services, ensuring care meets the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of residentsMaintain compliance with professional, legal, and regulatory standards, supporting quality, accreditation, and continuous improvement initiativesLead day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring effective coordination across all departments, building strong relationships with external partners, and contributing to strategic initiativesDevelop and manage operating and capital budgets in collaboration with senior leadership, monitor financial performance, and support risk managementPromote a strong culture of workplace health and safetyQualificationsBachelor's degree in a relevant field required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related health discipline preferredCurrent professional registration in good standing (if applicable)Minimum five years' healthcare leadership experienceMinimum two years' clinical experience in seniors care or gerontologyEquivalent combination of education and experience may be consideredSkills & CompetenciesCollaborative servant leaderEffective communicator and relationship builderStrong understanding of long-term care and healthcare regulationsLeadership experience in clinical program oversight, quality improvement, and accreditationFinancial management experience, including budgeting and resource planningProficiency in Microsoft Office and Point Click Care or other healthcare systemsAbout YouYou are a compassionate and values-driven servant leader who works collaboratively to serve seniors.
