AWS Integration Developer This role will last approximately 12+ Months Visas- USC Summary: The Integration Developer will help build and maintain integration solutions using AWS services, leveraging Node.js, Python, and Linux, following asynchronous publish and subscribe integration patterns, and leveraging canonical data models.Responsibilities: Design and develop integrations using AWS services, such as Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS), Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS), and AWS Lambda following an asynchronous publish and subscribe modelImplement and maintain event-driven solutions using Node.js, Python, and Linux in a DevOps environmentWork with the team to design and implement a canonical data model to ensure consistency, compatibility of data across all systems, as well as reduce data redundancy and dependencyTroubleshoot and debug integration issues as well as implement solutions to improve performance and scalability using different programming languages and Linux in a DevOps environmentContinuously monitor and improve integration solutions to ensure they meet the needs of the business and the specific requirements of the asynchronous integration and canonical data modelsImplement data validation, transformation, and normalization processes to ensure data conforms to the canonical data model and to ensure compatibility with the different systems in the integrationPerform tasks related to deployment, monitoring, and scaling of the solutions using AWS DevOps tools, such as CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CloudWatch, and the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)This position is Remote with occasional possible travel to Dallas, TX or Akron OHQualifications: Strong understanding of integration patterns, specifically asynchronous publish and subscribe model, and experience working with canonical data modelsExperience working with AWS services, specifically SNS, SQS, and LambdaStrong experience with Node.js, Python, and LinuxUnderstanding of DevOps practices and experience with AWS DevOps tools, such as CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CloudWatch, and the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)Familiarity with data modeling, data transformation, data validation, and data normalization techniquesExperience working with message brokers and Publish/Subscribe systemsFamiliarity with Linux commands and shell scriptingStrong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot and debug integration issuesExcellent team player with good collaboration and communication skillsA highly motivated and enthusiastic self-starterAWS Certified Developer-Associate level or higher Certifications are preferredBachelor's Degree is preferred; equivalent real-world work experience will be considered
