As part of the Growth, Commerce & Identity (GCI) organization, you will design and build the infrastructure that powers Disney's streaming and digital products and help drive subscription, engagement, and monetization across Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and Star+. Responsibilities Collaborate with Senior and Lead Engineers to build features in Mobile SDKs and support enterprise use cases. Assist with critical components including release process, remote configuration management, and live production issues. Contribute to code reviews, knowledge‐sharing, and technical investigations. Understand the internals of mobile platforms and diagnose device issues. Develop, debug, test, and benchmark various components in the software stack. Gather additional requirements and specifications for missing functionality across functional teams. Create and update documentation across the software development lifecycle. Maintain a strong understanding of the code base to identify, research and address issues. Help develop the project's build system and continuous integration system as needed. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience. 3+ years of production experience with Kotlin and the Android SDK. Well‐versed in different mobile architectural patterns. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams. Ability to write clean code, tests, and documentation. Experience resolving production issues, ideally on a large scale. Willingness or ability to learn iOS Mobile development with Swift and related libraries. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in additional mobile platform languages and patterns, such as Swift. Experience working with Agile methodologies. Working knowledge of mobile accessibility fundamentals. Compensation Hiring range: Seattle, WA – $120,300 to $161,300 per year; SanFrancisco, CA – $128,700 to $172,500 per year. Base pay may vary based on internal equity, geographic region, and experience. Bonuses and long‐term incentive units may also be offered, along with the full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
