And with hundreds of miles of trails, national parks, and forests nearby, there are boundless opportunities for sightseeing and exploration!\n\nWe're hiring Paramedics that are passionate about delivering basic and high-quality service as well as advanced patient care to our customers.\n\nDo you have a desire to continue your education?\n\nLooking to improve your skills and knowledge?\n\nWe offer sponsorships, educational scholarships, and tuition reimbursement opportunities. *\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nAssess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.\nUtilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.\nCommunicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.\nAct as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.\nDrive the ambulance on 911 responses.\nWork collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.\n\nOther Responsibilities:\n\nParticipate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.\n\nMinimumRequired Qualifications:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED)\nState Paramedic License\nState Driver's License\nBLS, ACLS, PALS OR PEPP, BTLS OR PHTLS\nMedical Examiners Certificate\nDriving record in compliance with company policy\nPass Physical Agility Test\nSome work experience, preferably in healthcare\n\nWhy Choose AMR ?
