The ideal candidate should be a strong database application developer who has built complex business logic directly within Oracle/Exadata environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize complex database application logic using Oracle SQL and PL/SQLBuild high-performance database-driven solutions such as performance engines, compliance engines, and core business logic within the database layerWork on OLTP systems and support migration/optimization initiatives involving Oracle ExadataLeverage Exadata-specific performance features including Smart Scan, Storage Indexes, Hybrid Columnar Compression, partitioning, and parallel query executionDiagnose and tune performance bottlenecks across SQL, PL/SQL, storage, and infrastructure layersCollaborate with application, data architecture, infrastructure, and engineering teams to deliver scalable and high-performing database solutionsWrite automated tests for database and application code following ATDD practicesWork in an Agile delivery environment with exposure to CI/CD, DevOps, and automated testing practicesRequired Skills15+ years of overall professional experienceStrong hands-on Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development experienceStrong Oracle Exadata engineering and performance optimization experienceExperience building complex application logic inside the databaseStrong database design and data architecture experienceExperience with Exadata-specific capabilities such as Smart Scan, Storage Indexes, HCC, partitioning, and parallel query executionStrong performance tuning experience across SQL, PL/SQL, storage, and infrastructure layersExperience with OLTP systemsExperience with ATDD and automated testing for database codeAgile, CI/CD, DevOps, and automated testing exposureThis role is best suited for candidates who are strong database application developers with deep Oracle Exadata, SQL, PL/SQL, performance engineering, and data architecture experience.Interested candidates can share their updated resume with current location, work authorization, availability, and expected W2 hourly rate.
