evaluate simulation and casting trial results to implement corrective actions and optimize process performance.\nConduct die-cast tooling trials and validation activities at both internal facilities and external suppliers.\nAnalyze scrap data to identify defects, determine root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.\nPerform cycle time studies to identify bottlenecks and develop process improvements to increase Net Casting Rate.\nEstablish and maintain critical die-casting process parameters, ensuring accessibility at the point of use.\nManage process parameter revisions and equipment program controls, including backup and recovery of equipment programs.\nDocument all die-casting process changes and maintain accurate change history records.\nServe as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for furnaces, die-casting machines, die spray systems, and die-casting automation.\nManage equipment suppliers, including project timelines, technical deliverables, and budget requirements.\nAudit production processes to ensure compliance with established process standards and critical operating parameters.\nQualifications\n5–10 years of experience in high-pressure die casting within the automotive industry.\nProven experience in runner and cooling system design.\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.\nStrong knowledge of PLCs, robot programming, root cause analysis, statistical problem-solving methods, and Design of Experiments (DOE).\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing principles;
