These systems provide reliable data transfers between domains for general users and programs. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of our AWS infrastructure. You will ensure the availability, performance, and security of our cloud-based systems and applications.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nManage AWS resources: Provision, configure, and manage AWS resources such as EC2 instances, EBS volumes, VPCs, security groups, and IAM roles.\r\nMonitor system performance: Monitor system performance metrics, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.\r\nMaintain system security: Implement and enforce security best practices, including access control, data encryption, and vulnerability management.\r\nAutomate tasks: Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and AWS tools (e.g., AWS CLI, CloudFormation).\r\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to AWS infrastructure and applications.\r\nImplement and maintain backups: Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures for AWS resources.\r\nStay current with AWS technologies: Keep abreast of the latest AWS services, features, and best practices.\r\nCollaborate with teams: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.\r\nQualifications\r\n4-6 years of relevant experience.\r\nBachelor's Degree in a Technical field (i.e. Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science)\r\nDoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01-M.IAT Level II Certification\r\nActive TS/SCI Clearance (must obtain a CI Poly within 6 months of start date) (US Citizenship required)\r\nAdditional Details\r\nThis position has an anticipated salary range of $120,000–$149,000 per year.
