We are all employee-owners at HDR, which is the foundation of our collaborative culture that connects employees around the world.\n\nIn the role of Transportation EIT/Engineer, we'll count on you to:\n\n• Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural transportation projects\n• Take responsibility for plan development of Mobility and Safety projects, including but not limited to Transportation Management Plans, Traffic Signals, and Signing and Delineation\n• Provide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, quantities and cost estimates, specifications, and calculations\n• Provide assistance with other transportation projects and groups as needed\n• Perform other duties as needed\n\nPreferred qualifications\n• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field\n• PE license preferred. Candidates hired with their PE with be titled \"Transportation Engineer\" and candidates hired with their EIT will be titled \"Transportation EIT\"\n• Able to develop designs using MicroStation, GEOPAK, or other transportation design software packages,\n• Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD\n• Familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Open Roads Designer.\n• MS Office experience\n• Preference is given to local candidates\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree\nEngineer in Training (EIT) certificate.\nProficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3d\nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must\n\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
