Embroidery Machine Operator

*Lila and Hayes:* *Full-Time | Hourly | $16-$19 hour, based on experience:* *Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 30-40 hours per week, generally between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.* *Position Overview* Lila and Hayes is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented *Embroidery Operator* to join our embroidery team. This is a hands-on position primarily responsible for operating embroidery machines and helping finish and prepare embroidered products for our customers. Previous embroidery machine experience is strongly preferred. We are looking for someone who works carefully, takes pride in quality, and is comfortable with repetitive, hands-on work. Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome. English fluency is not required. *Key Responsibilities* * Operate embroidery machines for personalized and embroidered orders * Prepare and hoop garments for embroidery * Thread machines, change thread colors, and prepare machines for each job * Follow order instructions for monograms, names, logos, thread colors, placement, and other embroidery details * Monitor machines while stitching and identify basic stitching or machine issues * Trim threads and remove backing or stabilizer from completed embroidery * Clean and inspect embroidered garments to ensure they meet quality standards * Fold, bag, repackage, and prepare finished products for the next step in fulfillment * Help organize garments before and after embroidery * Keep embroidery machines, supplies, and work areas clean and organized * Assist with other embroidery and finishing tasks as needed, particularly during busy periods *Qualifications* * Previous embroidery machine experience strongly preferred * Experience with multi-head embroidery machines is a plus, but not required * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Dependable with consistent attendance * Able to follow embroidery instructions and repeat processes accurately * Comfortable performing hands-on and repetitive tasks throughout the workday * Able to work both independently and as part of a team * Willing to learn Lila and Hayes embroidery processes and quality standards * Ability to understand work instructions in English or Spanish *Physical Requirements* * Ability to stand for extended periods * Ability to use hands for detailed and repetitive tasks * Ability to lift and move boxes, garments, and supplies as needed *Benefits* * Health insurance with employer contribution * Paid time off and paid holidays * Employer-paid short-term disability insurance * Employee discount on Lila and Hayes products *About Lila and Hayes* Lila and Hayes is an established Fort Worth-based apparel brand creating timeless, high-quality clothing and pajamas for children and families.
