Hybrid position based at the ViaPath office located in Dallas, TX.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDesign and execute test plans across web, API, and backend platforms using TestRail\r\nDevelop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)\r\nIdentify, log, and manage defects using Jira\r\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives\r\nValidate software features against business requirements\r\nReport on test coverage, defect trends, and quality metrics\r\nCollaborate with developers to enhance software testability\r\nConduct business rule configuration testing in relational databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle)\r\nPerform testing in virtual and intranet environments\r\nPerform testing on proprietary devices and mobile devices\r\nMinimum Qualifications\r\n3 years of QA experience in a software development environment.\r\nStrong understanding of QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).\r\nExperience with testing tools and repository software.\r\nFamiliarity with codebases written in PHP, React (Next.js), Ruby, Angular, Node.js, Java, or JSP.\r\nAbility to understand and execute testing in relational databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle).\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nExperience with Jira, TestRail, Postman, Git, and/or CI/CD pipelines.\r\nExperience testing APIs using Postman or REST-assured.\r\nStrong SQL skills for data validation.\r\nFamiliarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).\r\nExcellent hardware troubleshooting skills.\r\nProficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.\r\nISTQB or equivalent QA certification\r\nPayment industry experience.\r\nAdditional Information\r\nViaPath is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified individuals and to maintaining a workplace free from discrimination and harassment.
