This role is ideal for an individual with a strong engineering background who is passionate about improving how engineering work is planned, executed, documented, and governed. The Process Engineer will work cross‑functionally with engineering, program management, and leadership to develop, implement, and maintain processes that drive efficiency, consistency, quality, and compliance. This position requires strong technical comprehension to effectively translate engineering needs into practical, repeatable workflows.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDevelop, document, and maintain standardized global engineering processes, templates, procedures, workflows, and best practices across disciplines.\n\nLead the rollout of new or revised processes through training, change management, and communication efforts.\n\nPartner with the Director of Program Management & PMO to align engineering processes with program delivery, business objectives, and organizational strategy.\n\nEstablish and maintain process governance, including version control, approvals, audits, and compliance tracking.\n\nEvaluate current state engineering workflows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks, or inconsistencies.\n\nLead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and predictability.\n\nCollaborate with engineering leaders to ensure processes support innovation while maintaining technical rigor and regulatory requirements.\n\nDevelop process metrics and dashboards to monitor performance, adoption, and effectiveness.\n\nServe as a subject matter expert for engineering process‑related inquiries and improvement initiatives.\n\nSupport internal and external audits related to engineering processes, quality, or certifications as applicable.\n\nWorks closely with PMO and site administrator in development and maintenance of McLaren Launchpad.\n\nAcademic/Educational Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or related field\n\nRequired Skills / Experience\n\n3+ years of professional experience in engineering, engineering operations, process improvement, or relevant experience in a similar role.\n\nStrong understanding of engineering lifecycle processes, from concept through pursuit, design, review, and launch.\n\nExperience developing and documenting processes, procedures, and standards in a technical environment.\n\nDemonstrated ability to analyze workflows, identify root causes, and implement practical improvements.\n\nExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\n\nAbility to work effectively across multiple disciplines and organizational levels.\n\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\n\nBenefits\n\nComprehensive benefits package including an employee assistance program and health savings account\n\n401(k) with competitive company match\n\nContinuous learning and development programs\n\nPaid holidays\n\nSite and companywide community outreach\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nLinamar Corporation is an equal opportunity employer and encourages diversity in the workplace without regard to any basis protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
