Role Description This role provides end-to-end transaction operations and project management support to the Alternative Credit business, with a strong emphasis on DealCloud ownership and in-depth understanding of loan documentation and deal mechanics . Responsibilities Primary DealCloud power user and project manager , owning deal setup, data integrity, workflow management, and reporting throughout the transaction lifecycle. Manage the full operational workstream for new deal closings , including pre-closing coordination closing execution. Oversee and actively manage the pipeline of transactions , such as new investments, amendments, extensions, and restructuring, ensuring accurate tracking and timely execution in DealCloud . Review, interpret, and summarize loan agreements and related credit documentation , including credit agreements, amendments, schedules, covenants, and funding mechanics, to ensure accurate operational setup and bookings. Translate key commercial and legal terms from loan documents into operational requirements , system configurations, and downstream processes. Partner closely with Legal, Operations, Accounting, and Investment teams to coordinate deal closings, resolve issues, and ensure alignment between documentation, funding, and system records. Validate final closing deliverables by reviewing closing checklists and executed documents , confirming that all operational, legal, and funding steps were completed accurately. Provide hands-on operational execution for deal closings, including loan bookings, new asset setups, and cash/position reconciliation across platforms. Act as a process improvement lead , identifying gaps in transaction workflows, implementing controls, and optimizing DealCloud-driven processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and scalability. Participate in cross-functional initiatives related to system enhancements, data governance, and operational best practices . Qualifications Education Master’s degree or other advanced degree is a plus. Experience Minimum 2+ years of experience in investment operations, transaction management, or middle-office roles supporting private credit strategies. Hands-on experience managing DealCloud (or similar deal/project management platforms) required, including workflow tracking and data ownership. Demonstrated knowledge of loan agreements and credit instruments , including bank debt and other structured loan products. Advanced Excel skills Experience coordinating complex transactions with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines. Proven ability to implement process improvements, controls, and scalable workflows in a transaction-driven environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact directly with investment professionals, legal teams, and senior stakeholders . #J-18808-Ljbffr
