We are looking for dedicated and motivated individuals who are inspired to work smart and work hard in a team environment. As a Delivery Associate/Foot Courier, you will be the face of our company, delivering packages exclusively for Amazon. It will be your job to consistently exceed customer expectations by making sure all orders are delivered with a smile, on time, safely, and to the right location. Currently, we are looking to fill full-time (5 days) and part-time (2-3 days) foot courier positions.\nDelivery Walker Associate Responsibilities:\nLoad hand trucks and deliver packages (up to 50 lbs) by foot in all weather conditions, efficiently, safely and punctually\nFollow strict safety standards and practices throughout all delivery stages from package pickup, transport and delivery\nOperate an electronic device/mobile phone for GPS and daily records of deliveries via the Amazon Flex app\nContact the customers, when necessary, in order to deliver their packages in a safe location/follow their direction\nInteract with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner\nYou can expect to work between 7-8 hours a day\nWe provide on-the-job training so that all of our employees feel confident on the streets and the doorsteps of customers.\nDelivery Walker Associate Requirements:\nMust be 18 years or older\nMust be able to read and speak English, for safety reasons\nHave a valid, non-expired State ID or Driver’s License (New York City cards are NOT acceptable)\nMust be physically capable of moving boxes up to 50 lbs. and push a large hand cart, with or without reasonable accommodation\nConsent to a drug test. Marijuana is NOT tested for in the drug screening.\nFamiliarity with a smartphone as you will need to communicate constantly with your driver/dispatchers and use digital apps for delivering packages\nHave a positive, can-do attitude and be a team player. Come to work on time and be respectful towards your managers and colleagues\nMust be willing to work on holidays and weekends, when needed.\nWhat is an Amazon delivery service partner?\nAmazon has partnered with local Delivery Service Partners (DSPs), independent delivery organizations that help Amazon deliver thousands of packages to customers every day.
