We respect the work we do and everyone who helps make it happen safely.Position SummaryMcCarthy is looking for a non-CDL driver to handle deliveries for concrete Fabrication using a 3/4-ton flatbed towing a 25’ gooseneck trailer. Together, we can build great things ResponsibilitiesAssist leadman/foreman in the fabrication shop.Drive a 3/4-ton flatbed towing a 25’ gooseneck trailerComplete/conduct Task Hazard Analysis (THA) that adequately identifies and addresses all safety hazards associated with a task. Perform work independently with minimum supervision. Read and interpret blueprints. Assist with lay-out of pile driving/welding operations.Clean, lubricate, and maintain driving equipment.Complete pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.QualificationsPrior experience with driving forklifts, scissor lifts, and side loader.Proven commitment to Safety.Work in an organized manner.Able to work night shifts when needed.Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site.Ability to work independently and follow instructions. Must be self-motivated and can work well with others. Organizing the concrete Fabrication yard Assist in managing concrete equipment inventory Assist in tracking lumber inventory Help with other yard operationsAbility to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency. Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds. Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces. Minimum age 18+ Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization.AdditionalProficient delivery driving experienceMust be comfortable working in outside climate.Previous experience with general labor and operating equipment.Identify common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools (hammer, shovel, measuring tape, hammer drill, saw, demolition hammer, cutting torch, grinders, etc.) McCarthy is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
