Accounting Specialist

Job Description Accounting Specialist - $21-$25/hr DOE Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Aventure Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Specialist to join a growing team at a well-established auto parts distribution center in Spencer, IA with more than 90 years of industry success. This role supports the day-to-day accounting operations of a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and excellent internal and external customer service. Responsibilities:Set up and maintenance of customer accountsMonitor accounts to ensure timely paymentsApply Accounts Receivable payments to correct customer accountsSupport fellow accounting team in development and execution of internal Accounts Receivable processesScan and file of accounting related documentsAssist with the distribution of incoming mailAnswers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessaryCollaborate closely with fellow Accounting team members and Store Operations team to ensure we are meeting the demands of our customers, both internal and externalDeliver exceptional accounting services to our stores, internal departments, and external customersEnsure accurate and timely delivery of all assigned duties Requirements:A minimum of two years prior accounting experienceComputer and accounting system proficiency is needed. Previous Excel experience requiredAbility to shift between the "usual" aspects of the job and the unique daily needs of the teamDesire to be a team member within a group that prides itself on providing solutions to our customers while taking care of each other and our customersPositive and professional attitudeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks with interruptions from the phoneOutstanding interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to use and manage a multi-line phone Benefits & Pay:Starting Pay: $21.10 per hourPaid Every Friday!
