Drive Growth.We are partnering with a growing life safety organization seeking a driven sales professional to expand its presence throughout the Detroit market. This opportunity is ideal for someone who understands commercial construction, enjoys working with contractors and engineers, and has experience selling engineered fire alarm and low-voltage solutions.This position will focus on developing new business, cultivating contractor partnerships, identifying project opportunities, and helping customers implement code-compliant life safety systems.Compensation & Benefits$100,000 annualized compensation during the first 6 monthsTransition to $50,000 base salary plus uncapped commission after 6 monthsMonthly vehicle allowance plus mileage reimbursementComprehensive benefits package401(k)Unlimited PTO (manager approval required)What You'll Do as a Life Safety & Security Sales RepDevelop business relationships with electrical contractors, engineers, consultants, and facility ownersGenerate new opportunities within commercial construction, retrofit, and renovation projectsAnalyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents to identify project opportunitiesPrepare project scopes, estimates, and solution-based proposalsPromote fire alarm, life safety, and integrated low-voltage solutionsSupport customers throughout the sales cycle, from opportunity identification through project awardCollaborate with engineering, estimating, and operations teams to ensure successful project deliveryMaintain a strong sales pipeline and territory strategyParticipate in networking events, industry meetings, and customer presentationsIdeal Background for Our Life Safety & Security Sales RepExperience selling commercial fire alarm, life safety, security, or low-voltage systemsKnowledge of bid/spec projects and commercial construction processesExperience reviewing plans, specifications, and project documentationFamiliarity with engineered fire alarm systems and life safety applicationsExisting contractor, consultant, or end-user relationships within the Detroit market preferredUnderstanding of NFPA codes and industry standardsAdditional Experience ValuedAccess ControlVideo Surveillance / CCTVIntrusion DetectionMass Notification SystemsIntegrated Security SolutionsBuilding Automation or Related TechnologiesWhat Success Looks Like as a Life Safety & Security Sales RepStrong relationship-building and networking abilitiesAbility to communicate technical solutions to a variety of audiencesSelf-motivated and comfortable managing a territory independentlyOrganized, proactive, and driven by resultsSkilled at uncovering opportunities and turning them into long-term partnershipsIf you're looking for an opportunity to grow a territory, leverage your technical sales expertise, and be rewarded for your success, we'd love to connect.JOB ID: 176723 #postMichael SteffkeTo Apply for this Job Click Here, $80,000 - $100,000,
