If you share our values, come find your place in our global community.Where you will be:You will be based in our Kinston, NC location.All about the role:Under general supervision of the People Leader for the department area, the Utility Worker will coordinate and monitor daily operations of specific assigned assembly processes and needs of production with accountability for the assignments during their work shift. Perform a variety of skilled assembly functions, repair operations, backup Team Leadership and other progressive skills during the training of this role to support the Factory to meet or exceed established standards for Safety, People, Quality and Cost.Key Responsibilities:Provide support throughout the Factory to ensure high-quality products are produced on time and meet customer expectationsTest, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and non-electrical assemblies to support production across one or more assembly linesAssist with production changeovers and troubleshooting processMaintain required production, defect, and repair records. Observe units for other quality or functional defects.Use hand tools and electronic test equipment in rework and repair operationsSafely operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials, components, and finished products in support of production needsDeploy Electrolux Manufacturing Systems (EMS) tools to document current and target conditions for problem solving related to the repair area.Maintain proper 5S conditions in your work center.Report any incidents and near misses to your supervisor or manager.Perform other job duties as assigned to support operational requirementsMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience or training preferredMinimum 2+ years of manufacturing experience in a factory or production environmentActive forklift operator certification required with demonstrated ability to safely operate powered industrial trucksInternal Forklift operator certification provided and required with a passing gradeBasic reading, writing, and math skillsAbility to communicate effectively with adult learnersAbility to use hand tools and electronic test equipment for electrical and non-electrical reworkWorking knowledge of assembly processes, tools, materials, quality standards, and safety practicesRequires continuous walking and standing with periodic lifting of no more than 25 lbs., including moving light to heavy materialsKnowledge of energy management systems, particularly ISO 50001 conceptsBenefits:Flexible work hours/hybrid work environment.Discounts on our award-winning Electrolux products and services.Family-friendly benefits such as extended paternity leave (4 weeks)Please be advised that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position at this time.
