Adjust controls to regulate flow of lubricant, machine speed, machine pressure, etc.\r\nVisual inspection for surface defects.\r\nInterpret and follow shop work orders.\r\nAbility to take on multiple work assignments.\r\nTimely completion of work assignments.\r\nWork with OPEX Engineering staff on efficiency improvement projects, etc.\r\nAssist area manager with any 6S initiatives and process improvement projects.Additional Responsibilities:\r\nMaintaining each machine in a \\\"model clean\\\" state by performing regular \\\"Type A\\\" cleans, as expected by procedure/work instruction.\r\nMaintaining the press machine's tool and die set, having them repaired or sharpened as necessary.\r\nMaintaining/staging in-process work material in a proper environment preventing contamination and/or damage.\r\nMove material between storage and press room.Knowledge / Skills Required:\r\nMust be able to work well with others and be able to follow departmental rules.\r\nMust be able to perform duties without external distraction, such as mobile phones and personal electronic devices.\r\nMust be able to work with micrometer, digital or mechanical, sensing thickness with .0001\\\" accuracy.\r\nBe able to lift materials up to 50 lbs.
