Controls Engineer

Description We are seeking a talented and driven Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Controls Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems to optimize our operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth functioning and efficiency of our control systems. Responsibilities Design and develop control systems for industrial processes Collaborate with internal teams to identify control system requirements Program and configure control devices, such as PLCs and HMIs, using industry-standard software Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure optimal performance Develop and implement control strategies to improve efficiency and productivity Collaborate with technicians and operators to train them on control system operation and troubleshooting Stay updated with the latest advancements in control system technologies and recommend improvements Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Proven experience in designing and programming control systems Proficient in programming languages, such as ladder logic and structured text Strong knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces) Familiarity with industrial communication protocols, such as Modbus and Ethernet/IP Proficiency in using industry-standard software for control system programming and configuration Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot control system issues Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $74,014.68 - $95,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: High Speed Manufacturing (Including Internships): 4 years (Preferred) PLC & HMI Programming: 4 years (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Macon, GA 31207: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
