{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"569b3ba6ae193c0f761b7bd7","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/569b3ba6ae193c0f761b7bd7","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/569b3ba6ae193c0f761b7bd7","title":"Machine Operator","description":"*Schedule:*\n\n* Monday-Friday\n* 1st Shift (7:00AM – 3:30PM)\n* 2nd Shift (3:00PM – 11:30PM)\n* 3rd Shift (11:00PM – 7:30AM)\n\n*Pay Rate:*\n\n* $21.00/Hour\n* +$1.00/Hour shift differential\n\n*Training:*\n\n* 1st Shift\n* 6-8 weeks\n\n*Position Overview*\n\n* Manufacturing and packaging of thermoformed plastic food containers and others according to specifications.\n\n*Main Duties and Responsibilities*\n\n* Operate and start up thermoforming machines and annex equipment efficiently\n* Packaging of products\n* Solving production issues\n* Setting up and adjusting reel, machines and peripherals\n* Finishing of goods for internal transport\n* Prepare raw materials / materials not processed. transport / storage\n* Check production according to recipe / specifications\n* Operate automation systems (if applicable)\n* Support in Extrusion: sheet Rolling, Measurement Extrusion\n* Thermo grinder: change grinding and stocking\n* Transport of full and empty waste baskets\n* Transport of full and empty goat foil\n* Add auxiliary materials\n* Take over personnel in thermoforming during breaks\n* Labeling of boxes and product identification\n* Filling of production cards, quality control forms\n* Quality\n* Check product quality, report quality issues, resolve quality issues and ensure traceability\n* Clean the work environment, empty the dirt trays\n* Compliance BRC/FDA – IOP regulations + hygiene instructions\n* Safety\n* Report unsafe situations and exercise safe operation\n\n*Qualifications:*\n\n* Education\n* Relevant technical education equivalent to secondary/college level, mechanical degree is a plus, or corresponding technical experience\n* Work Experience\n* Prior experience in thermoforming processes, or at least a similar process\n* Computer skills to operate software and communicate electronically\n\n*To Apply: *Email resumes to Trent.Wise@jfs.ohio.gov with “deSter – Machine Operator” in the subject line.
